OWI Penalties

  •  Mandatory forfeiture
  •  Mandatory drug and alcohol assessment
  •  Mandatory revocation of your driver’s license
  •  Ignition Interlock Device (IID) is required if your blood alcohol content is .15% or higher, or you   have had a prior OWI over 10 years  ago, or a Refusal   

Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (PAC)

You may receive a second citation for PAC. Although you can be convicted of both OWI and PAC, points and penalties will only be imposed on one.

If you have a financial hardship, you may submit the Petition for Ignition Interlock Cost Reduction, The court will either schedule a hearing for you or send you the 1/2 off install approval to take to the Install Company.
